I own far too much stuff. This is a revelation that I think everyone goes through upon moving. My current roommate liquidated and pretty much inspired me to do the same.
What this means for me is throwing away encouragement notes from Falls Creek and Super Summer days gone by (yes, I'm that guy that took those seriously and poured my soul into a colored piece of paper and kept every "Hope you have a great summer!").
It also means all the journals and notebooks full of notes from my freshman Survey of American History class will be taking a trip to the Ville to reside with the parents.
Salvation Army is getting a pretty sizable donation of tee shirts and dress shirts that fit fellows a bit on the chubby side.
Some comics will go into storage. Air tight of course. The classics will stay out for frequent reading.
It seems the one thing I can't part with are my books. I'm pretty sure there is a Seinfeld episode that goes into great lengths about people and their need to surround themselves with books, so I'll just refer back to that. Watch it. Its funny.
By Wednesday I hope to be moved. Wish me luck. It's quite an adventure.

Books are the only thing keeping us all from eating each other. I'm convinced of this.
I'm inclined to agree.
I'm more willing to say it's the dollar menu from McDonalds.
Ooohhh. Rob has a good point. Two double-cheeseburgers for $2! Those prices are crazy!
