Creater's Block

I have nothing groundbreaking to write about. Not that I have ever written anything groundbreaking to begin with... I do enjoy writing, though. I just haven't felt the creativity flowing lately. I'll blame it on the ice, which is everywhere, especially the front steps of our house. Yes, I fell like an old man missing his cane. It was dark so I don't think anyone saw. That's a good thing because there was no playing with that fall. No way to look cool after that.

I digress... I haven't felt creative and that frustrates me because I'm surrounded by very creative people. I also try to be well acquainted with culture so I read and listen to music constantly. When I do this I'm inspired to create.

A new album "dropped" as the kids say, this week by the band Fiction Family. I will tell you right now that this album will be in my top three albums of 2009. Incredible stuff. Even with all this amazing music around me I feel very lazy in my creativity. Oh well. I believe this all comes from God so I ask for patience and I move on listening to and watching my creative friends. I'm not bitter or anything...
